If you're looking for a Unique Away Day you've come to the right place!

YOGA

The word “yoga” is descended from the Sanskrit word “Yuj” which means union. Thus yoga is the path that leads towards the harmony or union of mind, body and soul. Yoga is not just a class of exercise, but it’s an ancient practice to gain happiness, peace and wisdom. It’s also a lot of fun practiced on a SUP!

WHY SUP YOGA?

You may well ask! Well Claire and I love a challenge we also like to look after our mental health and our physical bodies so SUP Yoga ticks all those boxes. Plus it is a lot of fun and not as hard as you think!

Yoga and stand up paddle boarding (SUP) have a lot of similarities both are:

Surprisingly easy to learn - with a good teacher

Excellent physical exercise for a heathier body

Great at reducing stress and anxiety

Fantastic for improving our mental health

Brilliant at turning off the 'Monkey Mind'

WHO ARE WE?

Julie and Claire - we met when I went to Claire's SUP sessions, Claire now comes to my yoga lessons.

Julie recently left a 30 year career in the Corporate world of Housing to focus on her 'Purpose' which is helping others through Yoga.

She provides natural mental healthcare solutions, her motto is 'Breathe', 'Move', 'Relax'. Yoga is not about touching your toes, its about what you learn on the way down.

Claire comes from a forces background spending her early career days in the original Women’s Royal Army Corp. Over the last 25 years she has worked in Sports development.

Claire develops and delivers initiatives providing opportunities for people from all walks of life to enjoy sport and physical activity, this builds confidence and self-esteem. Her motto when coaching is 'Lets look at what you can do, not what you can't!'

Together we provide SUP yoga away days where you and your team can have a physical day out, a lot of laughs, maybe some splashes, a great lunch all while you ground yourself in nature and turn off the Monkey Mind.

We usually start with a yoga lesson (suitable for all levels even absolute beginners) in the Pavilion building then it's on to the water where you can either have a stand up paddle board lesson, practice yoga on the SUP or have some team building activities - the possibilities are endless and packages can be tailored to your individual requirements.

Packages start from £1200 for up to 12 people. This includes 2 hours of activity Yoga and SUP, refreshments and lunch. Arrangements can be made to stay on in the beautiful pavilion building in the park for the rest of the day if you have 'business' to address on your away day.
